The concept favours the conservation of the site’s unique rock formation configured by slightly inclined and narrowly spaced rows of rocks that extend vertically in the north western sector in sheer cliffs. These rows were adopted as the guidelines of the volumetric modulation, rhythmed in successive blocks that intermingle with greenery, and stretch along vehicular access roads that serve directly each unit. Half of the terrain is exploitable, the other half is unbuildable by conventional standards. In order to fulfil the allowable total exploitation of the terrain, we introduced a funicular system of circulation that desserves units nested on the steep rocky formation.

The living spaces are extended in full aperture along wide terraces that embrace an unobstructed panoramic view. The spaces are oriented South-West, they are generously lit by a flooding sun during winter, while remaining variably shaded from a high rising sun during summer.
