Throughout centuries, the massive rectangle, the half domed apse, and the modest tower, have determined the shape of Mount Lebanon villages. These are constant factors that we recollect in order to give form to a new dynamic approach, avoiding at the same time a mere revival of the past. Thus, we induced a new vitality in these factors, giving them the potential for developing tradition towards an evolution proper to the 21st century. This vitality emanates from a thrilling emotional expression, due to the contrast between massive stone and dynamic concrete, between shade and light, in a crescendo like hierarchy; and that of wall painting colors of the apse that vanish in the blossom of vertical light against a grotto like heavy nave.

All arbitrary approaches were excluded so that each form recovers its everlasting Christological symbol. These forms bear a Dogmatic, Liturgical, and Suggestive meaning. The synthesis leads to the expression of mystery in the architectural space; a space that goes beyond its material condition to seek transcendence.
